Patrica Armour
We were very lucky to have the wonderful Patricia Armour come to speak to our Guild at the June meeting. She is a renouned tapestry artist who has exhibited around the world. She uses techniques that are very similar to that of Ancient Greece where tapestry originated and draws inspiration from them as well. She designs using photography and drawings - and joked about being able to get more detail and shading into a tapestry than a drawing - and translates these into threads.
Patricia expresses emotions and experiences in her work, using colours to create stunning works.
