Marilyn’s Quilt stories

Our own wonderful Marilyn Daly was our speaker this month. She bought in an extraordinary array of Quilts, rich with stories and love. She had us laughing, crying and appreciating the art of crafting.

Family and friends are key for Marilyn and this shows in the range of quilts that she had made for her loved ones. Her beautiful quilts often have a hanging sleeve included so there were a lot of blank walls across Wellington for our viewing benefit.

Marilyn also bought in some examples of her work being featured in magazines and books which was a delight to read and admire.
