Jeannette Lazet
Jeannette is currently the president of the Pinestream Quilters Guild and the owner of Vintage Orders. She came to talk to us about her dreams to reality story, and how her love of fabrics led to her becoming a regular shopper of the store she would one day purchase. The story of transporting all the fabric from their old home to the new was hilarious- they transported a mobile home from Christchurch to Auckland, stuffed it with fabrics and made a stop in Wellington en route.
We were thrilled to see a large number of quilts for our show and tell. This was unexpected as we had thought Exhibition month would be light, but we were treated to a lot of beautiful quilts.
