The ever popular hexagon has had a contemporary spin. Instead of hand piecing, learn an easy method to applique the hexagons which will be held in place with a spiral of machine quilting.
This class includes preparing the hexagons (some prep work is required), laying out with a focus on colour, value and movement, spiral quilting and finishing a wall hanging with a hidden facing and hanging sleeve.
Students can choose to start a large wall hanging size (70 x 100cm), a single small hanging (30 x 40cm) or a series of 3 small panels.
1-day class: 6 - 8 hours teaching time.
Detailed info sheet will be sent out for the preparation of hexagons before class.
